Rev. Elizabeth Miller Villegas

On Sunday, June 2, 2019, First Baptist Church of Ahoskie ordained Elizabeth Miller Villegas,  Minister of Children & Youth, to the Gospel ministry.

Elizabeth has served in this role since January 2018. She is a graduate of Chowan University and Campbell University Divinity School. She is married to Rev. Jason Villegas, pastor of Murfreesboro (NC) United Methodist Church; they have three children, Worth, Philip, and Miriam. Elizabeth is the third woman FBC Ahoskie has ordained to the ministry. Anita Thompson was the first, and Leah Anderson Reed was the second. It was a very good day at FBC Ahoskie!
